My Reoccurring Dream

Have you ever had a recurring dream? When I was a child, I would have a repeated recurring dream that I had done sometime so wrong in this dream, and I would shrink down so small that I was small enough to fit into the cracks of that old school style paneled walls with the vertical boards. Something would knock me off my feet and then I would start falling, endlessly falling into the crack of this wall. I remember having this dream so many times and realize it only surfaces as a result of feeling insecure. As an adult I’ve only had this dream a few times, but I wonder what dream annalists would have to say about those two aspects of this dream. The feeling of being so incredibly small and helpless and that feeling of falling.

Have you ever had reoccurring dreams, did they express a good or a bad experience?

  1. I use to have dreams as a child about running for my life with a group of other child a lot of them and airplanes were dropping bombs around us. Don’t know what that meant but I don’t have them anymore. Might have been the fact that I use to get on a lot but who knows.

  2. I had a reoccurring dream that I could fly. I could just run and jump real hard and start to fly or stand on the back of the couch and jump off and start to fly…sometimes I would fly just for fun and sometimes I would fly to get away from someone chasing me.

  3. Hey Heather. I have a re-occurring dream that I’m late for school… back in high school. I’m at home, getting ready, and before I know it, it’s like 10am. I also have a very similar dream, but I’m late to the airport to catch a place. Ugh… I hate being late, so these are both nightmare-ish for me!

  4. That’s pretty scary. I used to have “running for my life dreams”, and your legs are so heavy like you are stuck in cement or quick sand.

  5. Ha ha! Late for school! I had a dream once where not only was I late for school, I was trying to figure out what to wear and I accidently went to school with no clothes on…just my backpack. Horrifying!
