Are You Getting The Best Out of Your Prenatal Vitamins?

Adults BrentwoodHome Pillow

Many of us take vitamins as a means to stay healthy and we really believe we are getting all the nutrients from our vitamins. However studies show that just because you take a vitamin, it doesn’t necessarily mean your body is absorbing all the contents on the back of your bottle. The way your body breaks down that capsule and how the nutrients are absorbed can be different for every person and sometimes it can pass thru the body without being fully absorbed. Doctors and Nutritionists are finding that vitamins are better absorbed directly thru the food you eat, but if there is anything that is lacking in your diet, Liquid prenatal vitamins may give you better absorption of the most critical vitamins a mother needs, than capsules.

The FDA recommends that all women of childbearing age should consume 400 mcg of folic acid daily to reduce their risk of having a pregnancy affected by spina bifida or other neural tube defects. Liquid Health Prenatal Multi delivers 800 mcg and since it’s in liquid form, you will get better absorption of this vital nutrient. Also a great thing about these prenatal vitamins is they are made with whole food nutrients, its sugar-free and its a 100% organic.

I know when I was pregnant I tried a few different kinds of prenatal vitamins, and finally toward the end of my second pregnancy I found a liquid prenatal vitamin I liked and it didn’t upset my stomach or give me cramps like some of the other prenatal vitamins I tried.

Also recommended in addition to prenatal vitamins, are Omega-3 fatty acids for brain development in your baby.
