This year I became the proud mom of a kindergartener and for the first time ever, had to go school shopping for my son. We of course had to get backpacks, lunch bags, thermoses, folders, you name it. School hasn’t even been in session for a full week yet and my child has lost his thermos twice and came out of his class forgetting his lunch box. Guess what? Every other kid seems to have the same trendy lunch box or backpack, so it’s a good thing I discovered Kidecals.com. Kidecals makes labeling your child’s school supplies fun! They have a variety of labels to choose from and you can write whatever you want on the label, your child’s name and address, phone number or just your child’s name and his teacher’s name. We chose to do the phone number because I was hoping to make the labels last into next year! 😉
Now in this picture I’ve edited out the phone number. I don’t want that floating around the internet. 😉 But you get how cute they are:
The pack I ordered was the mini pack and it came with 120 labels!! That is a lot of labels and they are sure to last through the school year and probably next year as well. But I think just for fun, I’ll order him different ones next year. 😉
So far I’ve put the labels on his backpack, lunch boxes, thermoses (because they are waterproof), jackets and I’m sure I will be adding them to more things through out the year, and because kidecals are dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer safe, you really can stick them on anything!

And just so you can get how much variety you have in designing awesome labels, here’s just page one of the selection they’ve got going on at Kidecals for boys.
I just love how you can make the labels completely yours and no other kid will have the same one!
Kidecals has all kinds of labels you can stick on things and I know one decal parents will appreciate is the “allergy alert” label! If you stick one of those on a child’s lunch box, a teacher’s aid can make sure kids sit at the right table away from what they are allergic to.
I also thought their keyboard stickers were fun! This would be a fun way to “girlify” my laptop! 😉
