  1. I love getting the tree and decorating it. It is then Christmas with the lights and the smell of the tree and the glow from candles.

  2. One of my favorite holiday tradition would have to be stringing popcorn and frozen cranberries to hang around outside for the birds..

  3. My favorite holiday tradition is driving up to my sister’s house with my three daughters – we don’t have a lot of family left, having lost my mom, dad, and brother over the years. My sister and I are very different, but we love each other very much. Unfortunately, we can usually only get everyone together once a year. This year has me sad, since my sister and her husband will be out of town for Christmas. We planned on going up there Thanksgiving weekend, even though my youngest can’t get home until Christmas. Then my niece ended up in the hospital, so we’ve had to postpone. I’m wondering if it’ll happen at all this year, and even if it does, we’ll be at least one person short.

  4. My favorite Christmas tradition is hiding a pickle ornament on the tree and having someone from the family find it on Christmas Eve.

  5. Even though I’m a local, one thing that I love to do each year is stop by Christkindlmarkt at Daley Plaza (in Chicago). It’s beautiful, and seems magical on those perfect winter nights.

  6. My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with ornaments that have been handed down for a couple of generations.

  7. One of my favorite traditions is Christmas morning breakfast. It’s our “family time” before leaving the house for the day to celebrate with family.

  8. My favorite Holiday tradition is watching Mickey’s Christmas Carol with my family. Thanks for the giveaway. I hope that I win.

  9. Our fave tradition is listening to oldies Christmas music while decorating the tree and drinking peppermint hot chocolates!

  10. I have so many favorites, but I love Christmas Eve when we open our new pajamas, drink hot chocolate, and snuggle up to watch a Christmas movie.

  11. My favorite holiday tradition is on Christmas Eve all our families get together and meet a “Mom & Dad” home and we bring something and have a party and open gifts! It’s amazing how so many show up and the house is always full and everyone is having a great time! Now my Dad is gone and the families have split but we still get together for this time of year! Thank You for the chance!

  12. our tradition is visiting a light show at our botanical gardens.

Thanks for the chance to win!

Every holiday season we see a Christmas play or show.

    thank you

    1. I think we’ve done that for a few years with our kids too! It’s a fun tradition…unless of course, that one toy is so awesome play with, the kids have a hard time going to bed. Then it’s not so fun for the parents. 😉

  14. My favorite Christmas tradition is on Christmas Eve we always have an easy dinner and play games with the kids. Then We let the kids open a gift and drink lots of cocoa and send them to bed and we bring out some Trivia Pursuit.

  15. Family dinners and gift exchange are my favorite parts of the holiday. Thanks this is so great. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas.

  16. My favorite tradition is to have the kids and grandkids over the day after Christmas to decorate the tree and have leftovers

  17. My favorite tradition is the family Christmas party with my parents, brother and sisters. The weekend before Christmas we all go home and spend the weekend together.
