As we head into February hopefully temperatures will start warming up. I know I’m tired of the snow and really want to move on to planting flowers and getting outdoors more. What are you looking forward to doing this spring?

I have a rectangular dining table and a hutch that I plan to make a appliance area with. I have everything I need but really don’t have anywhere to paint it until the weather gets warmer.
We will be remodeling our laundry room this year.

We want to expand our patio.
I look forward to planting tomato plants and herbs for springtime.

I’m going to try and teach myself wood burning or carving. I have started trying to draw simple shapes (working on a howling wolf behind a moon in memory of my daughter). When the weather is warmer, I will be outside trying to carve, etc. While it’s cold, though, I am inside trying to figure out some patterns I want to do!

One of my biggest projects is to declutter the entire house. I usually focus on one section, but this year I want to do the entire home and bring some new life into the place.

Oh I am hoping to build a few small raised garden beds this year! We raise monarchs in the summer, so I need room to plant a bunch of milkweed! Last summer we raised and released 247!

Our yard needs lot of work this spring, need new trim around the garage and new gutters.
We need to put gutter gaurds on the back gutters. So many pine needle get in there.
We need to put gutter guards on the gutters in the back of our house. So many pine needles clog it up.
For spring I’ll be redoing the paint in the bathroom and maybe refresh the shower tiles.
I have to redo my bathroom it is long overdue.
I want to make our downstairs more astheticially pleasing too. I need to change out the pictures…maybe paint.
We are almost done insulating the garage and in the Spring we would like to wash and paint the outside of the house and there are several repairs to do on the inside of the house,too many to mention. It’s a fixer upper.

We are redoing a 150 yr old home to move into, come on Spring so we can do more work
Most definitely some deep cleaning, like under the beds and around the window frames. I also want to work on getting ready for garage sale season, my kids are outgrowing their clothes like crazy and I think I need a second home just to store all their outgrown clothes!

one of my new year’s resolutions is to learn to sew with a machine. i have saved up for the machine, and now i’m picking out projects. my daughter wants to make a ton of clothes for her dolls and i want to make some fun pillow covers. that would be a nice spring project!
That sounds fun! Sewing machines turn me into a sailor, but I bet your daughter will love all the cool new doll clothes!
