It’s the beginning of a new year, and for me, I like to set obtainable goals and establish a new or better daily routine. I tend to really hate the colder months. My body is cold and wants to hibernate. I’m not as active because being outside in freezing temperatures doesn’t appeal to me. I have a hard time waking up when the sun isn’t even up yet and there’s a whole other list of things I really don’t like about winter. But one of the things I’ve decided to do this new year is wake up with a positive attitude, read my bible and pray first thing in the morning and meditate away all the things I feel like I’ll worry about as the day gets going. Brentwood Home sent me this Holistic wellness bundle. It includes a meditation pillow, a beautifully scented candle that smells like a fresh bath and a new feathered down pillow. I sleep surrounded by pillows. I have one between my legs, one on my side for side sleeping, not to mention the one for my head and to have a new feather pillow in addition to our feather duvet, is awesome.
Brentwood Home sent me this holistic wellness bundle. It includes a meditation pillow, a beautifully scented candle that smells like a fresh bubble bath and a new feathered down pillow. If these things don’t say relaxation what does? The meditation pillow was designed with guidance from one of LA’s top yoga instructors, Angela Kukhahn. When I opened the box it came in, I found all these little seed-like things. Curious, I looked it up and found that the were buck wheat hulls. I sleep surrounded by pillows. I have one between my legs, one on my side for side sleeping, not to mention the one for my head and to have a new feather pillow in addition to our feather duvet, is awesome.
Now I sleep surrounded by pillows because I switch positions often at night. The standard pillow they sent me felt like down at first, but upon reading more about it. This pillow is made of latex ribbons. Has you curious right? The latex ribbons give the pillow a responsive feel to it, even though at first feel, it felt like down to me.
While many of you might have some extreme goals on your resolutions list this year, mine are more simple. I want to roll with the punches more. I want to be more at peace with life and less stressed. I suppose my goal for the new year is to focus on my thinking and making sure I’m always looking on the positive side and seeing the opportunity or positive outcome in each thing that happens.
I’m also ditching the morning cup of coffee for 16 oz’s of water and stretching. I know right?
Now don’t go thinking I’m some health nut now, I’m still drinking my coffee, I’m just rewarding myself with it after the water is consumed.
Anyway, Brentwood Homes wants to help my readers get their new year off to a good start too, so they are offering one reader what they offered me. A new latex/Kapok pillow, a beautifully scented soy candle, and a meditation pillow.
