Sometimes I wake up in the morning without motivation. I’m not sure if it’s just this phase of life I’m in or if I’m going through something I can’t truly explain at the moment but I used to be excited to wake up and tackle the day. I’ve lost that since we moved here, but I’m not depressed really, I’m just not as motivated in past years of my life and I really analyze what is worth putting effort into. Will it be a long-lasting effect if you know what I mean. At any rate, despite my lack of motivation some days, I still wake up and do some specific things, I read my bible and journal and go for that walk (except when there’s swim lessons at 8:30 in the morning).
I know that even when I am demotivated staying in the word will help to revive that.
Here’s today’s bible verse:
Ephesians 3:20-21 -Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power thas is at work within us, to Him, be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever, Amen.
Prayer: Father, thank you for the holy spirit. Thank you that I can use the holy spirit for discernment and that it is the power working through me. Lord, I pray that the power working through me, a.k.a the holy spirit fills me so that I have a renewed spirit that is excited to wake up each morning. That is motivated in the areas that will be fruitful to my life as a wife and a mother and a freelancer. I pray that my energy is focused in the right areas that bring about production. I pray that I use my time wisely. In Jesus name, I pray, Amen!
