Fall Chilis and Soup Crock Pot Ideas

Adults BrentwoodHome Pillow

Hi Fellow Fall Lovers. Guess what! Its September! Do you know what that means? Fall is right around the corner and if I remember right, the 21st of this month marks the fall equinox meaning the days are slowly but surely evening out. Family life becomes busier as we rush our kids from activity to activity after school and we often eat on the run. But what if we give that crock pot a good use, especially as the days become chillier?

I’ve gathered up some recipes here to make this fall, you can find all these recipes on Pinterest and they are all made in the crock pot.

Slow Cooker Broccoli Cheese Soup –  I love broccoli and if I can use it in a soup,  then that’s even better.

Chicken Pot Pie Soup – I love making chicken pot pie. My family loves it too. Its been a while since I made it, but I think its great that there is an alternative crock pot version of the same thing minus the doughy crust.

Slow Cooker Potato Soup – My absolute favorite kind of soup is potato soup. It just feels so hearty, warm and cheesy the way I make it. You can also find a really good recipe here on gimmesomeoven.com

Slow Cooker Chicken Noodle Soup – Now I have to say I’ve made this once and all went well until I put the noodles in too early. Do not add the noodles until the last 15 minutes to the crock pot because the noodles will disintegrate into grossness.

Slow Cooker White Chicken Chili – I’ve had some white chicken chili before and it’s really delish. I had to throw in a chili here because it’s just the perfect season for it and I love the different kinds of beans used in this chili. Plus its a nice alternative if you are cutting back on your red meat.

Crock Pot Chicken Enchilada Chili – I love chicken enchiladas especially with green sauce, but having a soup taste like enchiladas. I’m definitely bookmarking this on pinterest and giving it a try this season.

  1. It’s actually the 22nd but sometimes I think its the 21st since the solstices fall on those days. The crockpot enchilada chili, the white chicken chili and the chicken pot pie soup look good. I’ve had enough chicken noodle soup for a lifetime.

  2. The slow Cooker Broccoli and Cheese soup sounds Delicious! I am going to try this one . Its my husbands favorite and its hard to find a good Broccoli and Cheese soup recipe! I pinned it for myself. Thank you so much for sharing this Recipe..

  3. Yum!! I love using my slow cooker when it’s cold out, especially for soups and chili’s! They always turn out so much better when cooked in one! 🙂 Thank you so much for sharing!

  4. These all look so good! I just got a crock pot and have only made a couple recipes, ooh I’d love to try each and every one of these!

  5. The weather has been off and on cold where I live. It also has been raining quite a bit. I definitely plan on putting these soup recipes to good use. Sometimes I like to change things up a bit and not use crackers. I will get fancy or dinner bread to have on the side.
