There are times in the kitchen when I want to take my time and make everything from scratch, but then there are times when the weeks are busy and I don’t want to just throw a pizza in the oven just to have a quick meal. I want to provide my family with more variety. I like to come up with fast and easy solutions to busy week nights. I’m working on a busy weeknight meal solutions menu and this is one of the many recipes that will be added to that series. This sausage, perogies, and harvest vegetable dish can be baked in the oven and requires very little from you outside of turning the oven on and putting all the ingredients in the baking pan. The most you’ll have to do is cut up the sausage.
Only four packaged ingredients make up this lovely baked dish that will feed a family of four when you don’t have much time to cook in the evenings.

This is cool. I’ve always loved eating frozen pierogies but never thought to include them in a recipe. Your dish with meat and vegetables looks fantastic. The flavor combinations are endless!
It’s true, I think you could try different kinds of veggies and it will still be a hit. Like squash or peas and maybe asparagus.
This sounds lip-smacking good! And I love how easy it is, and nobody will mind they’ll be too busy enjoying!
Yes, it’s delicious, which is why I tend to make it once a week, and definitely when those perogies go on sale. Would love if you gave this recipe a pin. 🙂 Gratefully yours!
I try to keep meals on hand in the freezer for those nights that I don’t have time or don’t feel like cooking. This actually sounds pretty good.
Hope you love it! I seem to be making this dish every couple of weeks.
This sounds simple and delicious. My kind of meal for busy week nights. I can’t wait to try this. I need to restock on sausage first.
I bet you could try this with cubed chicken too. I think sausage might taste better though. At least I think so. 😉

I love easy dinners and recipes because it makes way for busy nights wherein I feel so helpless and I still have to cook. This goes in my recipe book! Thanks so much!
Yeah! I love helping people solve dinner time problems!
That sounds good. My mom made prerogies recently and I really enjoyed it. this meal looks pretty nice.
Perogies are like a comfort food for me!
This meal looks so delicious! I love Periogi.. can’t wait to try this recipe!
I’m trying to think of the perfect sides to pair with this entree. Some ideas I have are a simple side salad, or mashed potatoes. I also think steamed broccoli might be good.
A spring salad goes really well with this dish. It’s already filled with so much and can be quite heavy, so something lighter on the side would be great. Some bread and salad for sure!
Working for 9hours sitting on chair in office getting tired and after coming home tough job to do is to prepare dinner. It’s a quick and easy dish to prepare. Mostly the flavor combo is delicious.
It’s a great flavor combination for sure. Easy and delicious on those hard days of work!
Delicious and easy, perfect for me 🙂

Yummm! Looks delish. My son loves perogie!
