How was your fourth of July!? Did you eat good foods and see the fireworks? We did! We actually planned to have some people over, but due to an emergency situation, they couldn’t come…so it was just us enjoying all the good cookin! This year I just wanted to do something a little more creative than the typical hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. I wanted to do kabobs! I skewered everything from fruit to shrimp and bacon and threw it on the grill. We had BBQ meatballs, Hatch green chili salsa with chips and apple pie for dessert. Also one of my new favorite alcoholic drinks includes Coconut Malibu Rum and V8 Tropical splash! What should we name this drink!?
It should totally have a name! If you can think of a good one leave me a comment below!
Anyway, for this post I thought I’d share the recipe of the hatch green chili salsa I made for the fourth. Now I already have a salsa recipe on here, but this has different ingredients. My blender salsa is spicy. This salsa I’m featuring today is mild, but very addictive! You can’t just have one chip filled bite. I mean if you can, then there’s something wrong with you.
Enjoy! Oh and don’t forget the chips!! 😉
