Hello March!

Guess what! This lady right here is feeling pretty good these days! When a whole month goes by and you felt cruddy for most of it, you really appreciate the sunshine and those days when aches pains, sore throats and stuffy noses are behind you. While March is supposed to be the snowiest month in Northern Colorado, I just know spring is coming and before I know it, April will be here and so will warmer weather. Unless something changes, it also looks like most of our spring break will be warmish weather too. Hopefully in the fifties with no snow or wind. One can hope, I suppose. The weather in Colorado can change in a moment it seems.

So Saturday we headed up over to Estes Park for some sightseeing.  When you live in a state as beautiful as this one, you line stuff up to do on weekends or days off pretty quickly.

We took some amazing photos in the Rocky Mountain National Park. Check em out!

This is the view from Loveland. It seems far away, but it isn’t really.

This picture was taken just inside the Rocky Mountain National Park. The main road further in was still closed due to snow, but we were able to pass by the campground that we will be staying at this summer called Aspen Glen.

Scott is becoming an expert at learning each peak’s name. I’m not sure what these peaks are, but he would be able to tell you I’m sure.

There’s nothing that’s not beautiful here. We can’t wait to come back when the fields are green.

One thing that we couldn’t take a picture of but wanted to, were two male elks bucking at each other right in the town of Estes Park. We saw a bunch of vehicles pulled over on the side of the road snapping pictures, so we looked over to see a herd of Elk and two males fronting with each other. I wish I could have snapped a picture but we were just driving by too quickly.

I hope you’ve enjoyed getting outside lately like we have!
