If You Have Kids and an iPad, You Need An iGuy!

I’m sure if you have an iPad and kids you’ve got kids games on it right? But do you have the right protection for any dings your iPad might receive from being handled poorly by your kids? Thankfully I now do! My iPad has been off-limits to the kids mainly for this reason. Now my son has an iPod touch that has kids games on it. But some kids learning apps are only on the iPad, and frankly kids love the bigger screen.

I’d like you to meet the Speck iGuy:

This protective casing was well received by my two kiddos and for the first time ever, I let Baby B have a turn on the iPad. They make so many baby interactive games and stories it isn’t even funny. The one he loves the most is popping bubbles! He’s an expert bubble popper now!

When its time for the kids to settle down I bring out Mr. iGuy:
The kids love its stretchy arms, kinda like Gumby:
In fact, maybe we’ll rename iGuy, Gumby. I like that!
Not only are the stretchy arms nice for holding and picking up iGuy, but its rubbery self helps protect the iPad from being dropped and inevitably broken.
Now a part of the case that makes me a little nervous is the exposed screen. But iGuy has been taken through the rigours of Speck’s drop tests inorder to give the best certified protection for your iPad 4 3 or 2. So I can rest a little easier knowing that its been tested many ways.
My favorite feature is that iGuy stands on its own!
And of course I love seeing my kids sharing and getting along nicely while listening to an interactive story on the iPad.
(But don’t think for one minute they are always like this. I may or may not have bribed them to get along for this video with cookies and cake.)

Other great features about this case is there are openings for all the parts you need to reach, and for the speakers and camera. You can charge your iPad without having to take the case off. There is an opening for headphones and you can power the iPad on and off with the case on. There are special slits for the speakers, so you can listen to music and watch shows on it without any problems. The case is also generally easy to put on and take off.

And of course they come in three fun colors!
Right now the Speck iGuy is only $31.99 at MobileFun.com
