Jeremiah 23-24 “You Can’t Hide From God”

This morning we decided to go on a different walk at a different place because we knew our beloved Boyd Lake State Park would be flooded. So we did a much shorter walk, by a mile and a half at Loveland Lake. It was probably better because JJ has a sprained knee and he had a hard time keeping up this morning.

That’s okay though… we saw the Mummy Mountain Range from Lake Loveland with fresh summer snow on it and some pretty flowers along our walk.

Today’s verse was Jeremiah 23-24Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see them?” Declares the Lord. “I fill heaven and earth” Declares the Lord.

I love these verses because there is no place in this earth that God doesn’t know about. You can’t hide from him. He knows you, He knows your heart. There is nothing you can keep from Him.

Prayer: Lord I am comforted that you are everywhere. There is no place that I go that you can’t rescue me from. There is no place that I can hide, but there is no place that I would ever want to be that doesn’t have your presence in it anyway. Lord your omnipresence is something we’ll never understand but I’ll always always be comforted by.
