Jord Wood Watches, Eye Candy For Your Wrist

CrystalCove

I am so excited to be able to review an amazing watch from WoodWatches.com. Your watch can make a statement and this one received many compliments this weekend at a family gathering and when my husband wore it to the office for the first time.

Jord makes a variety of wood watch designs to choose from. My husband and I looked over their selection and our favorite was the Jord Ely Cherry watch. My husband tends to wear a lot of dark colored clothing, like dark button down collared dress shirts and pants, so we thought the dark cherry color would compliment his style and the watch. This weekend when we were at a family celebration he got so many compliments on it and I knew we chose the right design.

Here’s a little info about the wood watch design. In an effort to use unconventional materials to create something that would stand out, but not in the typical metal and rubber world we live in, the designers behind wood watches wanted to get back to hand crafted basics. These days with smartphones, most people wear a watch for the statement it sends, its more like wrist jewelry or eye candy. So if you are going to wear a watch, you want it to be eye catching and a conversation starter. This was!

My suggestion, Valentines day is just a few days away and if you are a wife, girlfriend, fiance who has received a lot of jewelry over the years from your guy, surprise him with one of these awesome watches. Its a great investment in your relationship and a chance for you to say Thank you for being in my life. Women don’t often spend as much on men as men do on women, so if you’ve been boggled by what to get your man, this really could be that awe factor. Now I realize you most likely wouldn’t receive the watch before Valentines day, so you can take a picture of the watch, put it in a box and show your guy what they’ll be receiving. That’s what I do, when I’m late at gift buying. 😉
