Kitchen Helpers on #WordlessWednesday

This is a rare scene in my kitchen. Usually the person standing in front of the sink is me. So on this night with all three of the men in my life taking over a duty mom usually does, was awesome! Since then we’ve adopted a new routine where the boys help me put the dishes away at night.

  1. It’s so nice when your family steps up and helps out. I used to love helping out with the dishes when I was a kid (I always thought it was a fun chore.)

    1. Yeah and since that day, the kids do help me after dinner…it used to be all my job. My husband has been better about it too! Makes me feel good and that my cooking is appreciated! 🙂

  2. Growing up it was always my mother or me in front of the sink. Still weird when I see my brother doing them at his house. He helps his wife!!

  3. My wife and I love when our kids help in the kitchen!! IT makes the work better and it also give them responsibility as well!

    1. Exactly! I’ve come to feel that dinner time, not as much with Breakfast or lunch because people are in a rush and heading out places, but dinner time clean up needs to be a family affair, we are all there, we all ate, we should all clean up. 🙂

  4. This is so adorable and it is always fun to have the little helpers in the kitchen. I think it prepares them for chores later. lol It is also time spent with the kids and work can turn into fun.

  5. So cute! I love when I have little kitchen helpers helping me out in the kitchen. It’s rare but when it happens, I enjoy it and soak it in!
