Inspired by his grandchildren Carmen DePasquale created “Little Green”. He saw his grandkids suffer from skin related allergies and wanted to do something about it. 40 years strong Little Green has branched out making products like lotions, balms, shampoos and detanglers for your little ones.
I’ve been given the opportunity to sample Little Green products and my favorite so far is the lotion in combination with the balm. Both my three and five-year old this time of year suffer from dry skin and cracked lips due to our harsh dry winter climate. My three-year old’s lips can crack and bleed and I feel so bad for him because I’m always wiping his face after he eats and that’s when he’s the most prone to dry skin.
This photo was taken before we tried any of the Little Green products.
You can see his red, irritated cheeks. 🙁
Using Little Green‘s lotion and balm has helped my son get his beautiful skin back. I put it on him after washing his face and before nap time and bed time over the last week and his soft cheeks are back, but of course like all toddlers, he got an injury by his eye, but at least he doesn’t have to deal with that on top of dry irritated skin.
I’m very grateful for Little Green for helping bring back Braidy’s beautiful skin!
After I put lotion on his face and make sure it’s all rubbed in, I follow-up with the Little Green balm. I put this stuff all over his cheeks and lips and I think it helps to seal in the moisture.
We’ve also tried Little Green’s Shampoo and Body wash and are happy with its cute little pump bottle. Its nice not to have to worry about opening bottles with slippery lids, so I really appreciate the pump feature. Like all kids shampoos, Little Green’s shampoo is tear free and pretty much scent free. This is great for those little ones who have hypersensitive skin.
I love that Little Green products are paraben, allergen and gluten-free. I know that the makers of little green take pride in their products and want to provide the best there is to parents out there that have the same concerns about allergies and making sure our kids suffer as little as possible.
One of my favorites, even though it’s for kids, is Little Green‘s detangler! As you can tell my boys with their short hair don’t need it, but I do!!
I have permed curly hair and I usually have to smooth leave in conditioner through it so my curls don’t turn to frizz. I started using this leave in detangler and I really like how smooth it keeps my curls so I don’t have to put a lot of mouse in it. I really like everything they sent me and because of that I have added Little Green to my holiday gift guide under the babies and toddlers section! I received a sample of Little Green skin and hair care products to facilitate this review. All opinions of the products are my own and not influenced in any way.
