A while back my son had the opportunity to make something that eventually came to life one day. You know how that Frosty The Snowman song goes with the lyrics “he came to life one day”? Well J Man Jones here got to create something all on his own that came to life this week.
Let me first show you the drawing he made:
This is Super JJ! That day JJ was trying to figure out what he should draw. He loves to draw and almost a daily thing its “Mom can I have the crayons and some paper” even well into Kindergarten his love for drawing hasn’t changed much. I can’t complain. So this day he drew his self-portrait, complete with a cape the letter S on his chest and laser beam eyes!
I turn in his lovely drawing to GetPillowPals and they make it come to life! Check out his excitement when he finds out not only is the package at the front door for him, but that his very own artistic drawing of himself came to life!
This little dude was so happy to see the comparison of his drawing and its stuffed version, he played with Super J all day. He slept with him that night and every night since. Super J is a huge hit. Now I had to of course frame the picture of Super J to go on Jaydon’s wall in his room and he can show all his friends what he helped create when they come to visit.
So What’s great about Pillow Pals? Well just think about how hard your kids work at their creations and how proud they are of them and how you display their artwork, wouldn’t it be great to help something they worked so hard at, come to life? I think its great and I’m so happy I got the opportunity to surprise JJ with this gift. Not only is it just awesome that a child can make their artistic creations come to life, GetPillowPals believes in giving back to society in any manner they can. They are developing ideas to help sponsor PillowPals to children in need or in unhappy circumstances who could best benefit from a special plush toy to bring them comfort and will release details shortly. If you feel able to sponsor a child with a PillowPal, they would love to hear from you.
They are donating $1 from every order to The Dana-Farber Cancer Center at BostonChildren’s Hospital, an organization that does truly amazing work.
