My Little Man’s Second Birthday Party!

Today I will be running around getting ready for J Myster’s Second Birthday Party. It turns out that we may actually have around 15 people in our house, and I’m freaking out that I may not have enough seating…

I did not make J’s cake. I’m not much of a baker, I’m more of a cook. But its Toy Story Themed and If I could have made it Thomas The Train Themed I would have, this Kid requests to watch “Thomas” all the time since we got him a Thomas the train set for Christmas. Maybe next year I won’t be so afraid to venture into cake making. I can make cake from the box, but always ruin the frosting….Oh well.

So its being ordered, we are doing sandwiches and fruit trays and hopefully someone brings a pasta salad because I’m not making one and I’m now afraid we won’t have enough food to feed everyone.

But I am happy with J’s DVD this year. Like I said in a previous post I will be making him a DVD collage of all his precious moments I’ve caught on camera or recorded, its set to music and it’s just a fun memoir to have, and to give to Grandmas and Aunts and Uncles. I know it will not disappoint. It’s actually put together much better this year, than the first year. The first year I had stupid video editing software and we had to watched everything in a little box on the TV screen, but this year its HD (some of it) and widescreen and it has an awesome DVD menu that is really cute that has some videos we didn’t actually put into his video collage because it just didn’t fit….keep in mind it’s already 28 minutes long and I’m a picture snapper so you know I couldn’t fit every thing! 😉

Not only did I do that, I actually turned J’s blog into a book. I keep a private blog of my son with his little adventures and milestones that I share with close family and friends, and I’ve turned his first year into a book! This child will be so well documented it won’t even be funny!

Anyway, Happy Second Birthday to my little boy, whose birthday is actually on Monday. Momma and Dadda love you so much, little ham!!

  1. What a cute little fella! Look at his lovely little face. Bless! I’m sure the birthday party will go really well, so try not to worry too much. My little two year old grandson absolutely loves Thomas the Tank and Toy Story. I’ve lost count of the number of times that I’ve watched the videos with him.!
