Refrigiwear’s Extreme Sweater Jacket

The colder months are creeping in and that means it’s time to break out the winter coats, scarves, beanies, and gloves.  If you live in a snowy area like I do, the kids will soon be breaking out the snowsuits too! Temperatures this time of year can easily change with how strong the wind is. Windchill is a real factor here, the difference in temperature with windchill can be 20 degrees.

That’s why I’m grateful for clothing like what Refrigiwear makes. My husband, who is picky with his choice of clothing received this Extreme Sweater Jacket in exchange for a review. All opinions are 100% our own. First off, Refrigiwear specializes in creating clothing and outerwear for extremely cold conditions in all aspects of work and cold weather play. My husband loves this jacket because it not only is as comfortable as a sweater, it functions more as a jacket, which I guess is why they call it the Extreme Sweater Jacket. He loves the soft microfleece lining and the 3-layer bonded wind-resistant outer shell, not to mention the additional pockets for things like his cell phone, wallet, and keys. What’s great is that the pockets on this jacket are waterproof. So if my husband is getting wet playing in the snow with the kids, he can be sure his phone isn’t going to get wet.

This inner microfleece lining is very soft and keeps you warm, without being too heavy.  Featured is also the hidden inside pocket, perfect for a phone or wallet, and the outer breast pocket that can be used for one of the same things.

  1. Thanks for introducing me to this brand. I love all of the features, especially the fleece-lining and all those pockets (yay!) It looks very comfortable and not stiff at all.

  2. Brrrr it’s definitely getting cold! My husband would totally wear that sweater jacket (especially in his office where he tends to get chilly)–he’s also incredibly picky. 🙂

  3. I had never heard of this brand before, but I really like the look of that jacket. I think I could get my son to wear one of these. He’s picky with his jackets too.

  4. Hubby and my boys would love this jacket. They love anything that is warm and has zip pockets! It is getting cold for sure around here.

  5. I have never heard of Refrigiwear clothing before. This Extreme Sweater Jacket would be great for my two sons. I will have to check these out for sure and love the zipper pockets. Thanks for sharing this awesome jacket.

  6. I have never heard of this brand, but it looks perfect for us. We are definitely getting much colder and I am always freezing outside. I will go check out their website right now.

  7. I absolutely love that there are a lot of pockets in this jacket! It’s really convenient! How awesome is it that it’s also multi-purpose! Perfect for the coming weeks!

  8. My brother would love that jacket. He does’t like anything super bulky or he says it gets in his way. This looks perfect.

  9. Now that the cold weather has kicked in, I’d really love one of these jackets. I actually prefer the mens jacket you feature in the post. I love all the pockets!
