So Much Life Happening!

Hey awesome readers! I can not wait to catch you all up on these last few weeks’ life events. I mean we’ve really been living it up. Kinda…sorta. I’m also really happy warmer weather is finally here and we can spend time outdoors. I took the above picture at Two Rivers park in Glenwood Springs Colorado where everything was in bloom and it was amazing!

We had family in from out of town and spent four days traveling with them. I am very behind on blog-related things because of our travels but I want to talk about some things coming up on the blog. I have some items I’ll be reviewing over the next week or so that includes travel trays (something you’ll really want for those kids in car seats or booster seats), teeth whitening treatments (especially if you are a coffee lover), and bone broth.

Bone broth? What’s that? I’ll tell you soon! It was shipped to me frozen a few weeks ago.

Anyway, I’m trying to get back into making more recipe posts again but I’ve been so busy lately preparing for our first out of town guests to stay with us and just got back from a week’s worth of travel around the beautiful state of Colorado!

So I’ve got at least five posts I need to write up this week, but today after just getting back from traveling, I am volunteering on a field trip down to the Colorado History Museum in Denver with my third grader that I will of course blog about too! But I just couldn’t let one more day go by without letting my readers know what I’ve been up to!

So be patient and I’ll be back tomorrow to share some more amazing content and to let you know about our crazy adventures….which half of them include almost every gas station bathroom between Colorado Springs and Denver!

Okay not really, but it seemed that way!

Think about movies about people setting out on a vacation where everything goes wrong. I can’t say that everything went wrong, but that last day of travel was an epic disaster and I was so tired of being the seventh person cramped up in a car.  I can laugh about it today though.  Anyway I’m off on another adventure today with my nine-year-old.  Wish us luck!

  1. I’m in the same boat. Family visited and then hit by allergies, now I’m way behind. At least allergies means everything’s in bloom!

  2. IT sure sounds like you’ve been busy! But it’s been the GOOD kind of busy you wish never goes away!

  3. This post brought back sweet memories for me. I use to live in Denver. My favorite part was the beautiful mountain view.

  4. My family used to joke that we were like the Griswolds from National Lampoon’s Vacation movies. We ended up in some very interesting neighborhoods, did many a u-turn (once because we were going the wrong way on a 4-lane one way street), and missed places that were right in front of us. But all these years later it makes for great stories.

    1. It does make for great stories doesn’t it Cindy!? I movie crew could have followed us through this adventure and it would have gotten wonderful ratings just in the humor of the situation alone!
