I don’t know about you, but I love singing in the shower. It’s really the only place I sound good. I used to (back in the day) listen to a disc player on the edge of the tub with headphones when I took a bath and one day the whole thing fell right in the tub. It was totally fried, but that was back when disc mans were in, a long time ago. Nowadays they’ve got bluetooth speakers, and not only that, Speakstick distributes a waterproof bluetooth speaker perfect for the shower!
You can listen to music from your phone, ipod, laptop. You can skip tracks, pause and even answer phone calls right from the speaker in the shower. It is a high-definition Bluetooth shower speaker with 3.0 audio wireless connectivity that has seamless streaming and 6 hours of playtime. It’s Universaly compatible with Android and iPhone tablets, smartphones, iPods, MP3, MP4 and other Bluetooth enabled digital players. Not only can you listen to music on the SpeakStick, it has a built-in mic.
Now I don’t normally make or receive phone calls while in the shower, but you can use this speaker in other places than the shower where being hands-free would be nice. Maybe you are cooking in the kitchen and would like your hands free to do dishes or chop food, but you want to talk to your friend or family member, you can have this on the kitchen counter or even stick this to your back-splash in the kitchen.
The SpeakStick comes in five different colors, it only takes three hours to charge and has a standby time of 240 hours. The loudspeaker output is 3 watts, perfect for your own personal sound system within a small space.
My husband and I just tested out answering phone calls on the SpeakStick and it works perfectly, although once it went right to voicemail when I was playing music. When I wasn’t playing music the Speakstick rang like it was my phone and I was able to answer it from the phone button on the SpeakStick and hear my husband’s voice loud and clear.
Things to keep in mind: This little waterproof Bluetooth speaker is not meant to replace a sound system. It’s suppose to provide ample sound within a small space. Keep this in mind when sending your kid off to college. This would be great as a little personal desk speaker in a dorm room or handy to keep in a shower caddy, or out in your backyard by the hot tub or pool where you can listen to music and answer phone calls without having to worry about splashing water that could damage your phone if it’s sitting by your pool.
Connecting the SpeakStick to your smartphone or device is really easy! Just turn Bluetooth on from your phone. Make sure the SpeakStick is powered on. Then search for the SpeakStick in your Bluetooth settings and connect. Once its connected it will make a sound, then you can play music from there. The only thing the SpeakStick can’t do is control the volume level. You’ll have to make sure you set the volume from your device. I don’t see it as too much of an issue.
I think SpeakStick is very useful and something most people will enjoy using. You can check out SpeakStick’s features on Amazon right now and purchase it with free shipping via Prime.
