The Eyn iPhone Case – Every Traveler Needs One!

I just got my hands on the coolest phone case and I didn’t realize how much I’d use it until our trip to Colorado. I also didn’t realize that I’d be forced to use it when we visited a Military base and there were no purses and backpacks allowed.

Why is this case so cool? Well it holds all of your essentials!

The Eyn case can hold cash, credit/debit cards, your ID and even has a mirror.

I was glad this came in the mail right before our trip. Sometimes when you are traveling, you want to make sure you don’t have to carry around big bulky things everywhere you go and if you are anything like me, you pack a lot for the road. Knowing that I wouldn’t want anything big while we were rock climbing or site seeing, I put my important things in the case, brought along a selfie stick and my DSLR, a small backpack and I was able to have enough things with me, but felt like it was ok if I kept my purse in the car when were out taking pictures.

Since most people’s phones double as a camera these days, you may not even need a separate camera. I just love my DSLR. 😉 The Eyn case was slim enough to still fit into the back pocket of my jeans where I tend to keep my phone when I want it close by. I was worried about that before I recieved it in the mail. It might be tight in some jean pockets but I’d say for most, its ok.

On our first full day in Colorado we visited a couple of places where it was nice just to have my phone and camera with me. For one we visited the Red Rocks Ampitheatre that I will go into detail in on a future post when I blog about our trip.

This was a fun selfie taken with my iPhone in the Eyn case. It was nice to see JJ in good spirits after being in the ER two days prior.

Its very easy to fit your phone into as well. The bottom of the case slides off and your phone slides into the case with ease. There’s no prying on the sides to get it to fit on. It slides into the case just like a glove.

So on the day we decided to check out the Air Force base, we read that there were no back packs or purses allowed on base. It meant I needed to have my essentials, like my driver’s license, some cash, my insurance card and debit card with me since I couldn’t bring the purse along.

We had a lot of fun on the base and bought more things at their gift shop than it would have cost all of us on a single day’s entrance to Disneyland. We didn’t feel bad about it though because all the proceeds went directly to our military.

One of the retired bomber planes.

Also the open case can double as a kickstand, so if you like to use it as your bedside alarm, or watch videos on your phone, its easy to prop up, not to mention a lot easier to hold a FaceTime conversation without having to hold your phone the whole time.

The only downfall I can find with this case is it doesn’t work well with my selfie stick. Now I don’t use my selfie stick a lot, I only use it on vacation or for special events, but the case was too bulky and the stick didn’t seem to hold a phone that was deep enough for the case. It kept slipping off and I kept dropping my phone. I can tell you that with as many times as I dropped the phone trying to get it to work in the selfie stick, the case stood up to the test of being dropped and mishandled a bit. There’s not a scratch on it. I can’t really fault the case for it not working with the selfie stick though, it seemed the stick was not made to grasp a deeper phone.

Anyway my over all rating for the Eyn case is a positive one and I think every traveler needs something like this.

  1. I love that it has the kickstand built right in. My daughter would love this case since she absolutely hates carrying a purse. The mirror is great, too.

  2. I absolutely love this case! It holds so much and you can’t really go wrong with the kickstand. It has so many great features, I had no idea a phone case could do so much 🙂 awesome review, thanks for sharing!

  3. I love that you can hide all your important things ie. drivers licence and bank card in the back and not have to worry about losing it. I have to admit I am a little late on the wallet iphone case but this one would be perfect for travelling!

  4. I totally need the Eyn phone case. I am so sick of carting around a huge purse, and now that my boys are out of diapers, I can carry around so much less. Looks like a great resource for moms.

  5. I kinda want a case like this. I got a new phone in December and don’t currently have a case on it. I have a rugged phone though so it will hold up to a little abuse. But I don’t like carrying a purse unless I have too.

    1. This would be great for you I think. Although I’m sure you have a belt pack being a runner, but this phone might not fit in a belt pack. I have one too that it doesn’t fit into. But I say over all the phone has some great features to it!

  6. Wow, this looks like a case that could probably benefit me a ton. I need a new case but sadly, I no longer have an iPhone I need to go back!

  7. What a lovely and cool looking phone case, my phone doubles as my camera since I don’t have a separate camera and would be nice to have such a multipurpose case

  8. This is a really neat phone se. It is perfect for when you cant or don’t want to carry a purse but need some essentials.
