There is Never A Right Time

It’s funny sometimes we go through periods in life where we think, eh I’ll give this a try when things calm down, when we aren’t so strapped for cash, when my health is better (sometimes you really do need to wait until your health is better), when I don’t have to do this or that…

I need to remind myself from time to time that there will always be something. There will always be a complication, a thing you have to get through, a week that is rough followed by a good week, followed by another bad week. People in your life that love to cause problems, money issues, friend issues. Arguments with spouses.

It’s called life.

Life is hard, life is beautiful like is complicated and then sometimes it isn’t. Regardless when the day comes that you don’t have any problems, that’s the day you should worry because I feel like we are given the things we go through for a reason. We need to learn from whatever it is.

What I seem to need to learn most from, are things that test my patience. These complications are merely ways to help you grow.

I have to believe that, and that each day, whether it felt just like yesterday, has a purpose, and that I have a choice right now, to be happy.

Be happy!

  1. Spot on. There truly is never a right time, so if you want to do something you just have to go for it. It will all work out.

  2. These are great quotes most of us spend our life thinking when, why, hows, and before we know it life passed us bye. Life is difficult for us all but if we wait for happiness we will missed out because it may never come thanks for sharing.

  3. i agree completely that there never is a right time because we have no control. it is definitely something i have learned with my acting career. there is never going to be a right time for me to launch so i was told to launch my career when i feel like i have my tools at 85% because that is about as ready as i will be

  4. It’s a simple quote, but it’s true to life. You can’t wait for the perfect time always, most of the time you would have to make the time perfect for you. Even if it is right now.

  5. This is so true and you hit it right on. I struggled with fear for the longest and finally got tired of being afraid and decided to just get in and do it scared until I was no longer scared. I am glad to say fear has a lot less of a hold on me today, thanks for reminding me I am on the right track.

  6. I like your positive attitude. I like the thought not to wait too, or you’ll run out of time. I agree, and hope your post helps make that thought line a little more contagious for us all. 🙂

  7. What a great post! I seriously spent the fist 25 years of my life waiting to be happy… I remember thinking… I’ll be happy once I’m in 3rd grade… I’ll be happy once I’m in junior high… I’ll be happy once I’m in high school… I’ll be happy once I’m in college… I’ll be happy once I graduate…

That’s way too long waiting to be happy. Now, I try to find happiness every day. 🙂

    1. You got to find it in something. Of course life is hard…things suck sometimes, but I’m sure we can all find one thing every day to enjoy…even if its cuddling with our kids, deciding to stay in and watch movies and eat popcorn….simple things really are the things that matter most. I too for years just looked to the future…only in the future will I find what I want…but I really do have it now.
