You Need Kidecals On Your Back To School Shopping List!

This year I became the proud mom of a kindergartener and for the first time ever, had to go school shopping for my son. We, of course, had to get backpacks, lunch bags, thermos, folders, you name it. School hasn’t even been in session for a full week yet and my child has lost his thermos twice and came out of his class forgetting his lunch box. Guess what? Every other kid seems to have the same trendy lunch box or backpack, so it’s a good thing I discovered Kidecals makes labeling your child’s school supplies fun! They have a variety of labels to choose from and you can write whatever you want on the label, your child’s name and address, phone number or just your child’s name and his teacher’s name. We chose to do the phone number because I was hoping to make the labels last into next year! 😉

Now in this picture I’ve edited out the phone number. I don’t want that floating around the internet. 😉 But you get how cute they are:

The pack I ordered was the mini pack and it came with 120 labels!! That is a lot of labels and they are sure to last through the school year and probably next year as well.  But I think just for fun, I’ll order him different ones next year. 😉

So far I’ve put the labels on his backpack, lunch boxes, thermoses (because they are waterproof), jackets and I’m sure I will be adding them to more things through-out the year, and because kidecals are dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer safe, you really can stick them on anything!

On his backpack (phone number edited out)And just so you can get how much variety you have in designing awesome labels, here’s just page one of the selection they’ve got going on at Kidecals for boys.

For boys
Or for girls!

I just love how you can make the labels completely yours and no other kid will have the same one!

Kidecals has all kinds of labels you can stick on things and I know one decal parents will appreciate is the “allergy alert” label! If you stick one of those on a child’s lunch box, a teacher’s aid can make sure kids sit at the right table away from what they are allergic to.

Allergy labelsSearching through their website I also found some doorbell stickers and fell in love with this one:

It never fails when I put Braidy down for a nap, my doorbell rings with a solicitor.
So as you can see Kidecals has an endless variety of labels or decals to choose from like these chalkboard labels.
Chalkboard labels let you hand write your own messages, and you can erase them and put something else on them later.

I also thought their keyboard stickers were fun! This would be a fun way to “girlify” my laptop! 😉

I highly recommend for all of your back to school labeling needs! Get your order in now before school starts!

I received a free set of labels to facilitate this review. All opinions are 100% mine.

  1. I love the chalkboard labels you have! Have you been using these labels long enough to see how long they last- or do they fall off easily? Thats the only thing I would worry about!

  2. i just love the customization, you can get it tailored to what your child wants. its a great idea as kids always leave things or forget things and is also a good idea if you are out in crowds, great post i love it

  3. These decals are an awesome idea. I remember the days of having to search the entire school, well at least it feels that way in a rush, for something the kids would lose. This also prevents the use of Permanent markers as well.

  4. What a neat idea, I love all the design options. I am sure my son would have rather had something like this instead of the black marker I used.

    1. Yeah, I “sharpied” a couple of my son’s things before the kidecals came in and realized I can’t pass down his backpack to his younger brother because it permanently has JJ’s name on it. I like being able to remove the labels if I need to.

  5. It’s a smart idea to have labels on key items so the kids can give that information to the authorities especially in an emergency. I hope the labels are placed discretely to keep them from prying eyes.
